Cal Poly Pomona Central is now CampuZoic!
As a result of enormous positive feedback and success, big changes are coming to Cal Poly Pomona Central. The app students have grown to know and trust as a guide for Cal Poly Pomona is transitioning into CampuZoic (kam-pyoo-zoh-ik). CampuZoic blends the words “campus” and the Greek suffix “zoic” which together translates to mean “Campus Life.” Continue reading
Our Story
In March of 2009, Adeline hired Shawn, who was a student at Cal Poly Pomona, to develop iPhone apps for her. Shawn, not knowing anything about iPhone app development, had to teach himself the iPhone programming language from a book. Their first app debuted on the iTunes App Store 7 months later. After their first launch, Shawn began developing an app for his school on his own. It started off as a mere RSS feed reader but turned into much more. In November of 2010, they decided to become business partners and started CampuZoic LLC.
